Lea-Ann Germinder, APR, Fellow PRSA, president, is an entrepreneur, communications veteran, consultant, speaker, editor and publisher, who has created award-winning campaigns in several industry categories for national brands. Product categories prior to specializing in animal health have included airlines, automotive, finance, retail, real estate, telecommunications, travel and sporting goods. She has handled a wide variety of crisis communications issues and educated the public about new products, disease management, prevention and treatment.

Some of Germinder's better known animal health initiatives include the creation of the “Pets Need Dental Care, Too!” for the veterinary profession, the launch of hydroponically-grown aquatic plants for the pet industry, and the launch of www.goodnewsforpets.com in 2000. Germinder was an early proponent of the Internet as a communications channel, and has delivered speeches on emerging communications trends at domestic and international venues including the Veterinary Medicines Summit in Nice, France.

Germinder is a board director of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) New York City chapter. She is past-president of the PRSA Kansas City chapter and a member of the New Jersey chapter. She is also a member of the prestigious national PRSA College of Fellows, one of the most distinguished groups of senior leaders in the public relations profession. She also holds memberships in several PRSA sections including the International Section and Healthcare Academy.

Germinder is a member of the New York City-based national Women President’s Organization (WPO), serves on the national advisory board of Enterprising Women and was named a 2008 Honoree. In 2006, Germinder was named to the Top 25 “Women Who Mean Business” in Kansas City by the Kansas City Business Journal.
